Artist Statement:
The idea of my work is to develop the existent idea 'light painting' further. The biggest challenge in this project is that the work doesn’t involve any photography techniques, especially the long time exposure. It means that I have to use a new form to interpret the 'old' idea. I integrated the light painting concept and the conventional painting process inusing 3D material to make the work. The light is like the colour paint and the broken mirrors are the painting brushes. I call the output work is 'kinetic light painting sculpture'.
